About Me

Professional Background

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Union College in 2006. After working in the corporate advertising world for 5 years, I decided to pursue my dream of working with people to create change in an authentic and meaningful way. I completed my Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University in 2013.

After interning at The Renfrew Center, I was hired as an Intensive Outpatient Primary Therapist, where I provided supportive clinical services to clients coping primarily with eating disorders as well as co-occurring diagnoses such as generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. I provided individual therapy, group therapy, meal support and family therapy.

In 2015 I joined Columbus Park Collaborative as Primary Therapist and Intake Coordinator. At CPC I honed my evidenced-based treatment skills in the form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Eating Disorders, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Relational Therapy.

I have completed Marsha Linehan's Behavioral Tech Institute Online DBT Skills Training as well as the first year foundational training and second year live clinical supervision training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family.

I am also a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers.
